I'm being asked to speed up a Vista pc this afternoon and have barely used
the damn thing as I resolutely stick to Windows 2000 and most places I visit
still use XP.

I'm compiling a list of tips but I have yet to find any truly useful
websites and/or utility software. Are there any goodies out there that
someone can point out?


My Vista is pretty quick. I have plenty of RAM though. Not sure if that's any help, but I guess my question is why it's slow in the first place?
