Do you go out of your way to convince yourself that current games are
crap?? Not buying GW2 because it's ?7, but buying Two Worlds at ANY
price, is just plain silly.

I love RPGs, even terrible ones. I like a game world that appears complete
and fully realised, even if it's just an illusion. Even when I play
shooters or racers or fighters, I want more of a narrative than "I try to
kill things and then I die." Also, my only objection to GW2 is that a game
I'll like that much needs to be on real physical media. Its price does not
trouble me.

I have no problem buying new releases, to address your other complaint.
Spectral Force 3, Izuna 2 and Drone Tactics will all likely be bought this
weekend once pay day has occurred. But knowing that GTA IV will some day
be available in a bargain Greatest Hits edition with all the downloadable
content already included doesn't make me want to go out and get it now. I
have no fear of missing out on the big, mainstream titles.
