Well hello again, my USENET dwelling chums. I have been sent forth

Peoples were wondering if you guys would be up for another game of
something, at some point. I'd suggest Ridge Racer 6, as it's cheap
and supports a lot of players, but we're open to suggestions.

It'd be a Tuesday again, unless anyone has any strong objections.

Thoughts?

Dunno about RR6. I suppose it is cheap, but I don't know if I'd be willing to buy it just for one night. I like the idea of racing of some kind, though. I'd probably prefer Forza 2, PGR3/4 or GRID, but I'm in no position to make demands. :)
There was a suggestion in here about a Texas Hold'em competition with you lot - don't know how that grabs you.

It would have to be a funny multi-leg affair. Our Poker game is oversubscribed as it is.

Someone will have to explain to me how you play "team" poker as well.

Not exactly team poker, but we could ensure a Beteo/ugvm split across tables as much as possible.
Here's from my most recent suggestion on it...

"
....And nobody replied on my Texas Hold'Em 4-per-table Tournament (or League) suggestion. I do think that could be a goer (for no money -just pride) if we got 4 x 4 tables at least. We could award points for Win & Runner Up. Everybody plays everybody at least once, etc.
The top 8 then go through to the final table. Or something. It'd make a change from all the running/ shooting/ driving at least.
"

....The winner would be winning for himself/herself as well as for Beteos/ ugvm of course. It could be played over a number of evenings/ weeks so it should be easy enough to find 4 players at a go who would be able to meet at one time or another -ie. not everyone would have to play in one particular night.
