series....I just saw it and clicked the buy button. I fully intended
to leave it in it's wrapper and take it back at the weekend, but I got
a little drunk and accidentally played through the first couple of
levels.
I follow the TV series quite closely and have been considering getting this.
I seem to recall seeing a preview that said it was little more than a series
of minigames with little or no relation to the programme itself. Would you
say that's a fair assessment, or is there more to it than that?
Bit early for me to have an opinion really, but I'm thinking it'll be
a very shallow experience, loosely coupled with the show:
The first half hour of the game has only dealt with the crash, so it's
a little early to say if it's following the series faithfully. The
start of the second chapter has me finding my way into the jungle and
avoiding the black smoke stuff.
Chapter one was essentialy a 200 yard walk, a flashback (with photo
opportunity), 4 conversations and a mini-game. It looks like this is
the way things will continue and I've read lots of comments from
people claiming the game is only about 4 hours long.
Oo that reminds me, must download last nights episode!
