He actually said "pwned" at one point. With his mouth.
b) Some rude chap threatening to ban you for opening a door.Hmm, I wonder if that was why I got banned? Then again, I don't get what he
meant about opening doors - You normally have to go through doors to get
into the combat areas anyway, don't you?
He was basically saying things along the lines of:
"UKNorthener you idiot, stop opening that door."
"UKNortherner you f*****g c**t: if you open that door one more time I'm going
to ban you."
and so on. Rather unsporting I thought. I didn't see it happen but I expect
he was using his refuel room as a refuge and you kept approaching the door to
let the rockets in. Not worth losing sleep over.
Again though, if he was mouthing off on voice, then I wouldn't have heard
him for the reason described above! I wished I had my mic plugged in, and
then I would've given him a few thoughts of my own.
I have a mic but elected not to connect it. We could always open voice in our
group chat window so we only hear each other.
I had fun on both servers, though. I really enjoyed that last map - it was
intense!
Yeah. Once I got into the game proper and understood what was happening, I
really started to enjoy it. Unfortunately, the game kept crashing on me (I
should've restarted my PC before playing), so I ended up calling it a night.
I also kept shooting members of my own team by mistake because the game
would swap players over between teams to balance them out. Not sure if my
attacks actually maimed anyone though.
Friendly fire has been off every time I've played, so you should be OK.
I can't remember which map it was, but there was a point where I seemed to
be the only person who spotted the enemy launching rockets from the rooftops
and tried repeatedly (and failed) to take them out. Yet frustratingly, I
couldn't work out how to get up there myself. It would've been an amazing
vantage/sniping point!
He probably rocket jumped up there.
I'm doing well on the achievements. I've done around 70%. I'm not sure howI think I'm at 20% or something, but I haven't gone through the achievements
I'll manage to play a game with 7 people on my friends list though.
list yet to see what I need to do. I've also noticed that all the characters
are evenly balanced, so it doesn't seem to make much difference which
character is selected.
I hate achievements in singleplayer because they break my immersion but, in
multiplayer, they're quite good fun to do. They inspire you to try
nefarious new things, for example dressing as a spy and stealing health from
enemy medics.
