Just a general shout out to see if anyone else currently playing the
360 version of this fancies getting together any evening over the next
week or so to work through some of the challenges. Any number of people
will do, as the challenges are broken into blocks of 50 for each number
of players from 2 to 8, but really, the point of this post is to try to
get a larger number together. From experience, trying to do the
8-player challenges with randoms is fun and amusingly chaotic but not
very productive. 8 people actually working together would be *much*
better. :)
For my part, I most likely be online late-ish tonight (10pm onwards),
much of Thursday and Friday evening, and during the day over the
weekend.

Is this a tumbleweed I see before me?
Fair enough. :)

I'd love to play online 360 games -to give me some reason to sign up for
Gold, but I don't have Bunrot Parlormice. Also, I'm not sure my isp
'allows' me to play online games due to throttling. I'll have to check
that again soon.

Normally throttling is employed to ensure real time stuff like VOIP and
gaming is working as well as it can do. I've had enough of my ISP and
will be wasting a tenner on the phone getting a MAC at the weekend as I'm
sure something this simple won't be on the Pipex control panel.

In the meantime, plans are in the works to switch isps. I need to wait to
hear if a third party is gonna be paying for (or contribute towards) my
internet connection first.

To date I don't see much reason to waste 60euros on 12 months of
membership to options I can't see myself using. ...Still 3 weeks left in
my (unused) trial.

Ooops, replying to myself. Bad form I know. What games do you have? I'll
give you a hand testing your connection if you like given that you have 3
weeks of gold membership left.

-Kevin.
