replied to was to flood the newsgroup news.admin.net-abuse.email with
off-topic replies. Which you fell for, hook line and sinker.

i know i did, it slipped through my net that one (for some reason
agent was set to auto-reply to all groups)

theyve flooded the newcastle united ng with the same guff, nicking
regular posters posting id's.

except the clever chump that's done it has used the same ip and
account to do it, so all evidence has been sent off to his isp (which
would appear to be roadrunner)
