I finally got round to having a proper try at this, and I like it. A lot. My
only gripe is that you really need to set aside quite a lot of time for a
single game of 'unlimited'. After about an hour of play, my score was about
the 10 trillion mark, and I ran out of gaming time so had to switch it off
(I was getting a bit weary of it anyway). Admittedly, the rate of scoring
was going up hugely around that point, but that's a lot of time for what
feels like it should be a 'quick fix' game. Quick question for ste - how
long did it take to get that massive leaderboard score? Was it just a
question of plugging away patiently for a long time, or did you score very
highly very quickly?


I think I played for about 1hr 20 or 30 for that one. Is there a way
of checking time played on a game? I'll look when I'm home this
weekend. Worth noting that once get up towards the 100x bonus
(something of a chore, especially seeing as misjudging and dying at
any point resets you back to 1x) your score obviously is jumping up at
an alarming rate, and it's easier to chain a lot on some stages than
others, I found. I got bored and killed myself in the end (ingame of
course, I'm not posting from beyond the grave), or undoubtedly it
could have been a much higher score. I doubt I'll play unlimited
again.
