That bit is relatively tough. I found the best way was to move up the
left hand side and sneak in from behind. The arbitor (whatever he's
called) keeps their attention from the front.
I'm not sure what the difference is exactly with heroic and normal but
I think it might be that you take damage quicker (as opposed to them
having more health).
With that in mind stay behind cover as much as possible and stop to
replenish shields whenever your hit and you can do so.
BTW - a bit coming up is murder (on heroic), those gravity stick
wealding maniacs have got an invulnerability shield they can use. If
they sparkle silver when they are coming at you run! Eventually the
shield wears out and they are pretty easy to kill.
Alien weapons such as the plasma are good for reducing shields then
swap to the assault rifle to finish them off.
Also if you get the shotgun and shoot them once at close range this
will remove their shield/armour and stun them, then use B to melee
attack and finish them off.
