PLAY

Bioshock (360) - Really great. Killing things is great fun and the
setting is amazing. Wife loves to watch it being played. Would be even
more atmospheric if it wasn't annoyingly sunny outside and if I didn't
have to keep pausing to pull seven-week-old kitten away from cables,
legs, etc.

This IS great, if quite a bit harder than I expected it to be, but
fortunately the respawning mechanism never feels like you're getting
punished unfairly, meaning you can brashly take on the Big Daddies
without much real fear. I don't know how long I played it for in
total, but it was probably close to about 16 hours in total, which is
even more impressive for me when I recall that I didn't look at it at
on Saturday due to an unexpected house full of family. I reckon I'm
about half way through, and loving it so far - it's much bigger that a
lot of the reviews lead me to believe, probably because I'm taking my
time and enjoying the atmosphere. Still reminds me of The Bradbury
Apartments from Blade Runner.

WANT

My new ISP to come online before too long - I've switched from Virgin
Media to Sky and the TV is here, but I reckon I'll have another week
or so before I have the internet back in the house. Virgin were crap
and bloody expensive, but Google groups are rubbish and using local
cafe's for the internet is a bit of a chore. What's even worse is that
I don't appear to be able to access my email at all, and it looks like
I won't be able to find out how to do it this week as DrG who set up
my webmail through my website is on holiday in Devon. Gah!
