Currently downloading it much faster than the Xbox Live version,
should
be complete in about 20mins. However, it is a BIG download, weighing
in
at just under 2Gb's!

Mine's stuck in a queue, so I'm sat here waiting.

I don't even know if my PC will even be able to run it anyway...

I'm very, very pleased to report that it runs as smooth as silk on my
Dual Core system with a GeForce 7600GT. It's running in 1680 x 1050
with
all gfx options maxed out and everything looks gorgeous!

Somehow, I think my PC's perfomance will be less impressive:

AMD Athlon64 3200+ 2GHz (none of that fancy dual-core stuff!)
2.5GB 400MHz DDR-RAM
nVidia Geforce 6800 256MB RAM.

I usually have games running at 1024x768 with all options maxed, but
I'll
have to wait and see on this one. 30 mins to go, and then I have to
dowload the nVidia beta drivers.

Paul.

Still waiting for the nVidia drivers to download, so I played around
without
them. At 1024x768 it seems to run pretty smoothly although it's a little
jittery in places where there's a lot of animations and movement. All
options are maxed out except for vsync which I turned off.

The minimum specs require a 2.5GHz P4 processor, but my slower Athlon64
didn't seem to be a problem at all.

Paul.

encouraging for my PCs spec (AMD 64 XP4000+ o/c'd to 2.6GHz) - was
considering upgrading my CPU as my A8N SLI Deluxe supports up to AMD 64
X2 4800+ (socket 939) - unfortunately can't seem to buy them brand new
and people want silly money for them on £bay and I need to clear the few
grand off my credit cards before I can even consider buying a new one.

not sure what drivers i'm using atm probably been a good 9 months since
i updated them though
