Play:
WoW: I've seem to have reached the point where I've done The Burning
Crusade. Got to 70, got my Netherdrake mount, got loads of gear, done
every quest worth doing etc. Still lots of raid content left but
between raids..... er can't think of anything to do. Maybe its time to
play something else!!! Hence, me downloading a sack load of 360 game
demos.
Tomb Raider: Anniversary (PC): Ages since I played a Tomb Raider game.
Was going to get Legends but got this one instead. Not played it much
but what I've seen it looks good.
Harry Potter OOTP Demo: Yes it got horrible control and polish issues.
I made the fatal mistake of walking down a corridor and couldn't get
out without pushing Ron and Hermonie out of the way. I ended up
looking at the door of the room I just entered rather then inside the
room. But I'm in Hogwart!! And there's Harry, Ron and Hermonie. I can
wave my wand to cast magic!! Some how it all makes up for the
failings. Will it make up for it after a few hours play of the real
thing is another matter but the demo left me wanting to play more.
Guild Wars: Probably, more in the "I should go back and play this
cause it was rather good and I never really got into it because of
WoW" camp. Not sure if I find the time to but we will see.
Want:
Burnout WhatEverTheOneShownAtE3WasCalled: I'm not a big racing game
fan (see below) but this type of driving game sounds like my thing.
Last Burnout game I played was Burnout 2. The idea of driving around a
city doing random stuff sounds fun. If the city big enough to allow a
host of things to do and find.
WoW second expansion and update 2.3. Need something new to do.
Bin:
PS2. As mentioned else where, I sold my last game and gave the console
to my niece. The gamepad I use on my PC the only evidence left I ever
had one.
Forza 2 (Demo): Not my type of racing game. Far to accurate and anal
if you ask me. I'm still the "What!! I have to break to go round
corners, following the correct line and overtake by not barging people
out of the way?" school of racing.
DiRT (Demo): Slight more fun then Forza 2 but not by much.
Ace Combat 6 (Demo): Fun for 5 minutes but rather confusing. Think I
spent half the time flying upside down and shooting at my own people.
Sonic (XBLA): Nothing really wrong with it, just its the same game I
played ages ago and replayed again on my GC. No need to come here
again.
Broken Axe (XBLA): Some games should never be re-released and this is
one of them.
Bomberman Live (XBLA): I kept on blowing myself up, so quit before it
came too embarrassing.
Uno, Bejewelled, Overload (Demo) and many more I downloaded and
deleted after a few plays.
It's easy to dismiss Uno, but late at night when you just want to chill out on the sofa there's nothing better.
