The cartoon was a shambles, the comic was brilliant. Had I kept my
collection from issue 1 to a-small-cupboard-full it'd probably be worth

That was some distance in, wasn't it? In fact, I may have given up
round about that point as I may have started to deem it a bit silly.

in the cartoons, it was the very last episode of the very last series
(series 4 only lasting 3 episodes and comprising of one story arc: The
Rebirth) of the G1 cartoon.

basically, it was an attempt to launch the new headmasters and
targetmasters toy line, but by that point kids were getting bored, i
think. i know i was.

i think they were introduced around the same time in the comics, which
carried the story on a bit further before being cancelled.
