Is there a timing trick for the stone skipping? I can get silver, but
you need to "perfect" the first couple of bounces to get anywhere near
the 333 score requirement per round and I just can't seem to work out
what the timing is.

Need to get the first skip perfect. I think the position of the body is important, make sure he is flat as he hits the water as he is more likely to skip, hit A just as he hits the water. If he is hitting the water head or feet first he is less likely to bounce well. Just like real stone skipping!! Also a steep angle (avoiding the diving boards) helps - I think the max you can do is 40º on that event.

The loading screen before the event tells you to actually leave the
ramp and launch the guy at a high angle just before you hit the water.
I can get past the diving boards and the ducks before I hit the water
for the first time, but it just seemed totally random whether I would
get a perfect or a great for the first bounce. I have been avoiding
the acrobatics though as it slows you down, but it sounds like it
necessary in this event. ta.

You can skip beyond the wall into the next pool if you perfect the first two bounces.

I've done that a couple of times. Consistency is my problem...:)

Yes, let the car drive off the ramp into the water and launch just before it hits the water. I didn't have too much trouble getting gold in this.

Baseball was the hardest, consistently got 390-399 but just couldn't get it over 400. It got a bit annoying before I finally got 411.

Basketball was hard but fun, got 55 after a number of attempts.

I was surprised how quickly I did soccer, I was expecting that one to take ages but did it on about the 3rd attempt.

Ski Jump is a pain until you realise <spoiler alert>lbh qba'g arrq gb ynaq ba gur enzc naq pna urnq yrsg be evtug gb nibvq gur fxvf</spoiler alert>.

The rest were all pretty easy.
