Problem being that the VGA resolutions offered by the 360 don't match
the native res. of most available widescreen PC monitors (1440x900 or
1680x1050 in the 17" - 22" range). There's a massive empty gap between
1360x768 and 1950x1080.
So, whilst I can do 1:1 mapping on my monitor, if I do so at 1360x768
then the picture is fairly small compared to what can be displayed & I
end up just doing a stretch keeping the correct aspect ratio.
On the other hand - using a CRT you might not get widescreen, but it's
much prettier :)
