Play:
Sam and Max Culture Shock (PC) - I'm bang up-to-date, me. Seems good,
but causes my laptop to thrash the swap file a lot, which makes it a bit
tough going. Probably play it at work instead.
Hudson's Puzzle Series games (DS) - Slitherlink, obviously, but I also
got Illust Logic, Nurikabe and Akari. Nurikabe is great, if perhaps
harder than Slitherlink. Akari's a bit easy, but a nice enough puzzle.
Illust Logic is probably the best Picross/Nonogram/whatever version I've
played on the DS. I'll try and make a more detailed post about them
later. But, if you like logic games and you're bored of Slitherlink,
Nurikabe would be a good buy.
Picross DS - Because I can't have enough of these games, apparently.
Very nicely presented (and even playable when you turn off stylus mode),
and the wifi stuff is good. There seem to be far too many easy puzzles,
though. And I hate the way you can't turn off the "telling you when
you've made a mistake" setting for most of the puzzles. Well presented,
but I prefer Illust Logic's set up, and larger puzzles. If anybody wants
to swap puzzles, post your friend code. I'll post mine when the DS is
charged up again. I make no excuses for the heavy Doctor Who theming of
my puzzles.
Want:
Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol (DS) - Surely this must be close to finished
now? There were screenshots ages ago. If it's anything like as good as
the GC game, it should be well worth getting.
Bin:
Nothing.
