It's OK, I'd stopped crying by the time I'd got home :( Seriously though, ta for the stuff. Didn't play anything in the end, got home and booted the 360 and decided it's going back for a replacement, the fans have a permanent whine that the previous one didn't have and even started clicking as if catching something at one point. I'd rather put up with the lockups and disc read probs I was having than that.
Ouch. I'd get it replaced asap, doesn't sound good. KEEP YOUR DRIVE THIS TIME! Muppet! Also, don't start TDU unless you can afford to lose the next five hours.
There is no need, I haven't even put my wireless details into this one yet, let alone the gamertag or any gameplay. Hearing the fans always upset me enough to switch it off and go do something else, I've only had it since Friday. And regarding the previous machine, I thought I only had Crackdown to play through again (which I was and am looking forward to), and hence why I wasn't bothered losing the drive but I forgot about the PGR3 hours, of which there were many. Arse!
FWIW, the wireless details and system settings are stored on the firmware, only your tag and saves are on the HDD. I've had to re-setup my wireless on my new 360s.
