Right, I'll be playing some games this weekend. And now my love affair with Resistance: Fall of Man is over (don't worry, it was amicable, it just came to a natural conclusion) I'm back to my promiscuous ways of old. I hope the 360 doesn't notice any lipstick on my collar or find the hotel room receipts...

What the hell am I talking about? Let's just get on with it.

(ALMOST) DEFINITE

Earth Defence Force 2017 (360) - The 360 version of the PS's Chikyuu Boueigun games. On the minus side, it seems to have lost one of the playable characters from Chikyuu Boueigun 2 and doesn't have giant ants crawling over London any more. On the plus side, it's in English and may have a framerate that's in double figures. I'll find out when I get home. (Assuming the disc works. It arrived rattling about inside the case and doesn't look too happy about it.)

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Shivering Isles (360) - Or whatever they're calling it. It's downloaded, but I'll probably not start it up until tomorrow morning while the wife's still asleep in bed.

Virtua Fighter 5 (PS3) - Probably my Lei Fei, though I might switch back to Goh for a bit. I wish it subtitles.

Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection (PSP) - I'll be playing the PSP version while the wife plays the PS3 version.

POSSIBLE

Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution (PS3) - Works fine on the PS3. Graphics now look very dated, but it has the overwhelmingly comprehensive training mode that could be quite useful. Though I never remember to recover from knockdowns even though I now know how to, anyway.

Jet-Pac Refuelled (360) - Maybe. I'm not sure if I should have bought it. It seems pretty fun, but not amazing - and Shivering Isles was really expensive.

Motorstorm (PS3) - Well, I want to play this some more, but I'm not sure I'll have time.

Slitherlink (DS) - Really should get back to this.

Magical Starsign (DS) - Really should start this. It's waiting.

Virtual Console (Wii) - Maybe try out these new games they put up that everyone's so happy to see. Don't know them myself, but I'm tempted to try them out.

I'm playing the "its my birthday today" game which entails heavy drinking all day. And as with all the best games it has all the best games it has multiple endings of a) pass out in a gutter or b) throw up in a gutter, then pass out.

Oh, I should put this (RL) to stop you all rushing out to GAME and trying to buy a copy.

Now excuse me I'm off back to the pub.
