Well, I'm assuming Blockbuster - in which my local Gamestation sits - opens at ten, so I'm sitting here twitching and waiting until it's time to leave.

Then I shall go and see if they have a PS3 for me. They should have, as they said they would and no other bugger's buying them, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much yet. I'm not counting my chickens until they're sat on a table with HDMI leads up their bums, anyway.

Nope. And my free Blu-Ray of the X-Men III needs collecting at a future date. Bah.

And it didn't fit into my trolley so I had to carry it home and it's really heavy.

I did, though, get the console, Blu-Ray remote, Virtua Fighter 5, Motorstorm and Resistance for no money[1]. I even came back with £5 left on my credit note. Hooray!

They had a pretty long pre-order list - forty people? - and said they'd had a busy midnight launch, but nowhere in town seemed to be sold out. At all.

[1] Well, no money today. I did pay a £20 deposit.
