There are cheap achievements to be had by just trogging around on a
snowmobile or sled for some relatively small distance, if you're just
interested in racking up points.

As for impressing bystanders, as deKay said, you need to get your
awesomeness bar filled (by doing big tricks/combos), and then pull any
halfway reasonable trick in front of anyone with a yellow eye above them.
You'll find that they tend to be concentrated around the drop points,
mostly, so when you fill your awesomeness bar it's often a good idea to
restart your current run (the bar stays intact) as you'll then have an
instant audience.

Lol. There actually is an awesomeness bar! I thought that was another
deKayism. :-)


You can rattle through the story missions pretty quickly if you don't get
distracted. Always look for the pulsing star marker on the trail map, and
if
it says you need more respect (or whatever it's called) to unlock the next
story mission then just go do a few random challenges until you have
enough.

To be honest, most of the achievements are pretty routine, and the only
one
that took any real time to get was the 'gold medal in all events' one.
