Samsung
Blu-Ray player, £999. Says it's a player in the title, but has in the marketing wank description "the most powerful recording capabilities". Does that mean all BR players will be recorders as standard? It took forever to get CD writers, and to a lesser extent DVD writers, to market (in any kind of serious way, not costing 10 times more than their playback-only counterparts). Just curious.

Rubbishy marketing speak only I'm afraid. Recordable BluRay/HD-DVD is a way off yet.
