My initial instinct to that post was to laugh in agreement but halfway
through something made me stop and go "hang on..... Fifa Park?" Then I
started visualising it with your typical schoolkid players, the huge
variations in pitch surfaces from a tarmac road to a beach to a stone
strewn field. Or alternatively on those occasions where you could be
arsed to walk all the way to a proper pitch and found that the goals
were far too big for a 3 a side.

Sounds good :-)

beach? no chance, unless its a windswept beach, like south shields.
and its pissing it down. and you can only use one of those plastic
floaty-balls they sell at the seaside that defy every law of physics
known to man.

the final would be played on a public park tennis court, the kind
surfaced in that black gravelly stuff that shears away any skin that
comes within feet off it at even a slow pace. and the goals would be
between two of the thin posts in the large chain link fence.

off-centre, of course.

Now this is the sort of game I would buy!
