I'm up to what I assume is the end boss of this game, level 44 I think,
my Father. It's ridiculous! I fight my way to the end of the level and
still have full health, but it only takes one hit to kill me. I think
it's a matter of perfectly timing my super-bomb, but when you only get
one chance it's hard to learn the correct timing! I shall perservere...

If I remember correctly, your super bomb is biggest the closer you are to a bullet hitting you... so wait until you're about to get hit, then unleash!
