Yippee-kai, Steve!
Last week:
> ONE
> Complete the current level I'm on in Freedom Force. Not that I can
> remember what that was because it's been so long since I last played.
Oooh, so close to failure. I loaded this at the weekend but it hung my PC so
in temper I took the disk out and buried under a pile of other games. I
decided to give it a second chance last night and stormed Mr Mechanical's
base, blew it to pieces, and then completed the level after too, battling
Mechanical himself on the streets of Patriot City. SUCCESS.
> TWO
> Complete the Dr Crygor level on Wario Ware Twisted!
Yup, and three other levels. SUCCESS.
> THREE
> Win Civ IV with something other than a space race victory.
I'm shocked but I actually haven't played this since last Thursday because
The Movies arrived and seduced me with it's shiny newness. FAILURE.
> FOUR
> Play something, anything on the PSP.
Didn't pick it up at all. It's lying in the corner rocking backwards and
forwards weeping with the DS, both victims of neglect of late. FAILURE
> FIVE
> To play The Movies properly and not just piss about with the sandbox
> mode.
I haven't played this since Sunday, but I am six hours into a proper game.
No sandbox mode for me yet guv. SUCCESS.
So, three successes and two failures for me, although I can comfort myself
with the fact that I did finish Doom 3: RoE at the weekend to complete an
unspoken challenge.
This week:
ONE
Complete a further two levels of Freedom Force.
TWO
Complete Wario Ware Twisted! and start playing Wario Ware Touched! again.
THREE
Continue my current game of The Movies to at least 1960.
FOUR
Carried over from last week, win Civ IV with something other than a space
race victory.
I'm abandoning the play on the PSP challenge for a week. Too much else to
focus on right now.
