Re: Bank Holiday Monday Play, Want, Bin

Augusta, Georgia, Late September one The Rev's hot tempered

Them's the best kind of nights though - unless you stop at any point to
go home and get changed of course then your momentum goes and all you
want to do is sleep.

Forza (Xbox) - Dunno why but I just had the urge to start this properly
as I only fired it up quick when I first got it. First thing to note is
the progressive scan mode makes a massive difference and it looks tons
better than through normal RGB. I have enjoyed what I have played of it
so far although there was an MSR type moment when I completed a series
of races and unveiled some crappy Toyota milk float.

Rallisport Challenge 2 (Xbox) - Picked this up for peanuts on ebay
recently and it's more difficult than it should be at the moment because
I am too busy going "FUCKING HELL DID YOU SEE THAT?" about the scenery
and general graphical loveliness. The handling feels absolutely spot on
and so far it's my favourite rally game of this gen.

Project Snowblind (Xbox) - Finally got round to starting it and so far
so meh. The textures look like they were created on a Spectrum but I've
only given it about half an hour so far. The guns feel a bit weedy which
hopefully means the nano powers are suitably powerful in a Psi Ops kind
of way.

Links 2004 (Xbox) - Another one picked up for bugger all on Ebay and so
far so good. It leads you into it all with a suitable amount of
handholding but I can imagine the later levels are a tricky proposition.

> WANT

To stop thinking it's Monday.

The Gamecube. Well not quite - it's gone upstairs into the boy's bedroom
as a birthday present to go with his telly. I can see myself being
squeezing into his inflatable chair and locking him out of his room when
Twilight Princess is finally released.
