I agree with all that (except that PC tech already surpasses consoles),
but what does any of that have to do with the initial assertion that PC
games don't look as "next gen" as 360 ones?
Regarding your last point, consoles are going the same way in my opinion.
Out of PS2 Xbox and Gamecube, I'd say only the PS2 has got close to being
pushed to it's fullest.
Oh I don't know. RE:4 began to show what the Gamecube was able to do,
F-Zero GX was good and Rogue Leader 2 was another good game. But yeah,
perhaps consoles now aren't out long enough for the programmers to really
push the hardware.
Maybe the Xbox and Gamecube could've had like 3 more years left to see what
they could really do but consoles are slowly turning into PC's... Updated
much more regularally than in the days of the Megadrive and Snes era.
