Fire Emblem is a new game released about a month or so ago. Its unlikely
that you'll get it second hand for quite a while.

Good RPGs on the GameCube don't go down in price. Paper Mario is still at
£29.99 or more even a year after release. The other reason is that Nintendo
keep a tight grip on the available quantity of games that have longevity and
don't sell en masse in Europe. By distributing only small quantities to
Europe, the games stay permanently high in price.

Unlike other consoles where if you're one of these people that wait long
enough for a game to come down in price it will, it doesn't happen often for
good Nintendo RPGs.

I, like Ste, got the game at around the £22 mark from Tesco. I don't
usually spend more than £20 on a game these days as I personally can't
justify it. However, RPGs on GameCube are worth getting if you can below
the £25 mark especially at that price so soon after release.

Some RPGs on the GameCube go down in price in the U.S. purely because they
are sold in larger quantities such that they come down sooner or later.
Skies of Arcadia and Tales of Symphonia are such examples and you can pick
them up new for around £15 delivered each. Hence its worth investing in
FreeLoader.

Fire Emblem, at a guess, will go down in price in the U.S. However, I doubt
it will in the U.K. Unless you happen to be lucky and be in a high street
store as they are about to get rid of their GameCube stock (not sure if
there are any places now that sell GameCube stuff) then it will be £30
pretty much forever.
