Er, I think it's silly to panic when really nobody outside of Nintendo
has any experience with this thing; controllers are something that
Nintendo puts a great deal of effort and care into, and they're not
going to release something half-baked.
Nintendo has pointed out that although you _can_ wave the new controller
about like a light-saber or something, you don't _have_ to -- it also
works just to rest it on your leg and move it like a conventional
joystick.

The PSX pad sucked rocks. Sony kept it because they don't give a ***.
