Which was my rationale when I proposed the group. In reality though only the PSP and DS are discussed there. What little else there could have been discussed in .misc.

But then there would be no respite from the likes of Scoopex. Think of the flamewars in .console too!

As it is, the best course of action would simply to have .gamecube renamed to .nintendo, and kindly point people to .handheld if they want to talk DS. .nintendo would infringe on .handheld just as much as .playstation currently does, so it sort of balances things out :) 

Yes.  I've already agreed with Tim on this elsewhere in this thread.

Creating a .revolution would be a horrible idea, especially because it currently isn't definately called Revolution.

I did wonder about that. Think of the incorrect groups we could already have by acting so rashly:

uk.games.video.dolphin
uk.games.video.katana

Er.... ok, I can only think of two at the moment, but you get my point.
