For the same reason a Celeron 1.3 laptop costs more than a P42.4 desktop.
You pay for the miniaturisation. Doesn't matter how much better the DS is,
you just can't shove it in your trouser pocket.

There are some great GBA games, but it seems to me the platform is winding down and the great portable games are coming out for the DS now, so how does Nintendo think they are going to sell this? ...
