Yes, that's a possibility, but it'd probably still have to be in the UK, if I want one with inches.

Can't offer you any actual suggestions about where to get them though, last time I got one was in a Christmas cracker.

I doubt many dress making emporiums have online shops, but just in case, what would be a good search term to use? "measuring tape"? I could try searching for sites with addresses ending in co.uk...
