I looked WEG up in English Wikipedia a few hours ago, and it sure looks like that.

The reason I'm asking is that recent discussion in < news:rec.games.frp.advocacy > pointed to some design flaws in Star Wars 2nd Edition, which led me to assume that a 3rd Edition had been published.

(Of course it is possible that the discussion was in fact about design flaws in the Revised 2nd Edition - I don't recall.)
