No offense meant, Derek.
The "even" didn't refer to your age but to your desire to keep "English" at
a certain standard. What I meant is that if you go a couple of generations
they had a different view upon what constitutes "correct" British English.

Who knows - if things evolve as they have in recent time even the Brits may
one day speak "American" :-)
