FTSE 100 Historic Data - where to find?

OK its a long shot...but does anyone know where I can download historic values of the FSTE 100 over the last 6 years.
Something like this
http://www.ftse.com/dyn_cache/EB1X_hist.csv
but that is for the euro 100 index.
I have looked at yahoo finance and aol finance and can get charts but I need to calculate averages over specific periods to calculate the value of some investments.
So anyone know where to get the raw data
....and yes I have goggled various permutations but not found what I need
