Chuckle all you like, but it is true.
Global warming means more extreme weather conditions,
so it will vary between drought and extreme flooding.
That's really quite clever, isn't it?
Invent something which, if true, would cause either of two
opposing events. Then, when one of them happens (either
one, or even both!), that obviously proves that it is true!!
_averages_ over long periods to show trends. On that basis
the heatwave last summer and the floods this year may even
cancel eachother out.
Conclusion: the weather hasn't changed!!!
We shall now discuss the dangers of merely looking at average
values and discarding the outliers in the data set.
