I can see that if someone has fraudulently used my "Verified by Visa"
password I may have difficulties proving it.
You got it in one.
But it also rules out a lot of PITA frauds because it is no longer enough
to have the card details and address.
Well technically the CVV does that.
I'm happy for you to chose whether you accept the compulsory liability shift
by using Verified or Secure. Where cardholder not present product is to be
delivered to the cardholders registered address I want to chose to decline
to enroll in a cynical compulsory liability shift. In practice that means
using non-enrolled vendors (such as Amazon).
