I have many times asked them (by letter and message) how I get my
"electronic signature" stored on file but they respond with a standard
letter/message about something else.
has anyone else experienced this? How did you solve it?
I gave up and closed the account.
Thank you all for your responses. I don't my going in to a branch
(not easy for me) if that is what I have to do and if I have to sign
on a special gadget then that would seem to be the thing to do.
talking abotu closing accounts becuase of poor coms: I used to have
investments with HSBC but I just could not get them to change my
address of their files. They still use my previous previous address.
In the end I had to close all the funds and move them elsewhere
because my mail forwarding was coming to its end (after 2 years).
