If I post a message about a financial matter on this newsgroup, where on
the screen do I look for it?
Will it be listed in chronological order, ie with the last postings at the
bottom?
Or alphabetically, by the name I use?
Or what? So farI can only find my postings by scrolling down the screen
and looking for my name.
Its up you, in Outlook Express you can arrange in just about any order you
want, either by thread or by seperate message (view > current view>group
messages by conversation)and you can view just your messages .
Click on the heading to arrange which order, click again to toggle between
whether (say) date order is most recent first or last. Or use 'sort by' in
View.
And how long will it stay visible for? Several days, probably, or maybe a
week or more?
thats up to your ISP and also how you configure OE.
Read the help pages. Experiment.
