Joint account credit card products that alllow split direct debit payments?

Hi,
I've been looking for a product, which I believe if existed would
prove a real hit with the UK public. I currently pay off my credit
card in full each month by direct debit, thereby paying interest on
cash advances but avoiding it on purchases. I would now like a credit
card whereby I could 'dial in' the percentage split between a number
of direct debit sources thereby giving me complete control over how I
pay off my bill.
I see the benefits for couples and families as great. For instance,
partners who agree on a split of the cost of joint expenditure could
have a joint credit card to put all the expenditure on one card safe
in the knowledge that the bill would be paid off in full at the end of
each month according to a direct debit ratio set previously (possibly
on a income/affordability basis).
Are there any products out there to allow such a flexible feature. If
not, is there any chance the major names could be convinced to take up
such an idea. I thin it would simplify people's finances significantly
and save a lot of hassle. It neednt be hard or expensive to implment
either for the banks.
Any thoughts?? Thanks,
Rich
