It's obvious that they are simply trying to push their luck.
If the charges are unreasonable for private customers, there is nothing
that would make those same charges reasonable for business customers.
Unless, of course, Yorkshire Bank are arguing that they (are entitled to)
provide less favourable terms to their business customers - which seems
bizarre.
In any case, so far the banks have preferred to settle without testing the
principle in court. So the best advice is to continue to reclaim the
charges.
