Re: Where's my money?

I've got a new regular saver with A&L linked to a direct premier current
account. On Monday, the 1st payment of £250 was transferred out of the
direct premier current account to go to the linked regular saver,
however, today is Thursday and the amount is still not there. So,
where's my money sitting for these four (or more?) days? I know the
interest rate of the regular saver is quite good, but 4 days (or more?)
to transfer money internally between accounts operated by the same
institution does seem extraordinary.
What did A&L advise?
I haven't spoken to them yet, but hey, I thought that this being a newsgroup
where people 'discuss' things, that maybe somebody else has had the same
experience and that it wasn't unusual that this happena qirh A&L. As you
will see, I posted my original post at 8.17am this morning, when I was in my
pants eating a slice of toast and marmalade and drinking my tea, before
rushing out the door for work, after putting on something more than just my
pants, in the anticipation of somebody dropping a reply before I come home.
Unfortunately, fair do's to those who have replied, but, nobody has yet
responded and said 'oh, that always happens with A&L', so now I'll spend my
evening ringing them to understand what is going on.
Thanks for your help.
