Barclays Online: advert added (Rant)

I've been using Barclays Online this morning. I've just noticed an
advert seems to have been added on the "At a Glance" screen ('50 free
online trades'). I don't want the advert, I dislike it, I didn't ask
for it, they don't put adverts on bank statements so shouldn't drop them
into the online service, it's another graphic to download. Since they've
put the advert at the top of the screen, you have to scroll down to see
all the information that used to be available at the top of the page
(hardly 'At a glance' any more!). The Barclays online banking service
used to be half-decent: why do they have to interfere...

Now, that feels better. At least if someone capable in Barclays sees
this posting, they might take some notice, rather than the droid that
might reply to the e-mail I sent to Barclays 'Contact' with their usual
anodyne reply.
