Do I hear Goalposts being moved ?Can anyone who says they are "Green" tell me what % do humans
produce of total CO2 emitted ?
Not really the point.
Can anybody tell us what, apart from man, takes fossil carbon and puts
it into atmosphere / biosphere ?
You hear a question being asked that might give you a clue.
even Bush has started to weaken over GW -
Can we do this without US politics ?
despite increase in CO2 emissions
and warming only being linked for the last 30 years (since we stopped
believing in Global Cooling)
Until then temp and co2 emmissions usually went in opposite direction think
of the 1500s - hot, industrial revolution - cooling
I think you've already been given the view that it matters not a jot if CO2 happened to come before or after some temperature change in the past. Forcing or positive feedback way back when - who cares ?
The point is simply that CO2 does retain heat in the atmosphere, and we are getting carbon out of the ground and setting fire to it on a grand scale. This is something that hasn't happened before.
That we release a small proportion of annual CO2 turnover per year, (your point), isn't important. What matters is that over the years we have pushed it up significantly. Or are you disputing this ?
Cheers, J/.
