Renewables are the form of electricity generation favoured by users of
the BBC News website's Electricity Calculator
interesting that people didn't opt to reduce use more - perhaps people
thought it meant sitting in the dark rather than insulating and
turning unused items off.
Getting other people to reduce their usage is the difficult part.
For eaxample, Incandescent heating devices, generally known as tungsten
filament lamps, still outsell energy efficient lamps.
Wonder how that would look if you broke it down by powered on hours ?
