And no pricing mechanism. If my gas costs me 2p/KWHr, - if I want
heating, I'd be prepared to sell at about 2.5 - 3p per KWhr. If I don't
want heating it would be 6-9p. All this needs broadband connected
boilers, web preferences pages, an auctioning processs (because my
neigbour might sell at 2.4p). Where's the progress on this?

I like the idea of each household's electricity meter having an IP
address but the dynamic demand site suggests this isn't necessary. The
marketplace should decide whether a consumer or generator should
produce or buy by monitoring the grid frequency. The use or supply can
then be charged with reference to a record of the frequency.

Could do, but not very subtle.

Does anyone have a cite for this

No, but look at EcoFlex prices ?

There is the tri-generation option of course, but how much cooling do
you actually need ?

Lost me there? Gas power to power my air con? Better to buy the
electricity.

Not if you need to generate the electricity in any case. I think the
absorption chillers on the gensets in Woking town centre have a
cooling COP of ~.75 but it's cannot verify that.

Sounds about right.
