Hi, apologies if this has already been discussed on this NG
First of all I am nothing to do with this company but the other day I was
discussing the petrol/ecology/CO2 thing when I remembered that in the late
80s/early 90s, Renault were doing research into making a pneumatic engine.
I decided to do a Google search and found The Air Car could be on the way.
Here are a couple of links.
http://www.motordeaire.com/ing/UKPressrelease.html#Eng
and the actual website is www.theaircar.com
I've always thought it is a good idea but reckon that the government/car
manufacturers/oil companies are all in cahoots due to the massive amount of
tax on petrol and diesel.
Hmmm... What's the range up to these days ?
Cheers, J/.
