Micro-hydro options

A practical question for those who might have looked into installing
such a thing...

Which suppliers and consultants have much experience of putting in
micro-hydro in the UK? In this particular case it would be on a stream
that once worked a water mill so in principle there is a decent enough
source of power, particularly in the winter months.

It needs to be done in a way that would keep the flood risk no worse
than at present.
