People protest about CO2 emissions from Coal fired power stations.
When ?
They protest about Nuclear Power stations, just when new technology is coming on stream.
Not sure I blame them, especially if the cost is unclear but huge.
Just google for 'pebble bed nuclear power' and find out how great this technology could be given a chance.
Same true of distributed micro-generation though.
Gas is running out, and the Mining industry has been murdered by the Unions.
And produces most CO2 / kWh !
So, are you going to tell me that Environmental Campaigners live in Caves and dress in Bearskins? No,
No - but they might put some effort into reducing their environmental footprints. Do you ?
they probably spend the evening Watching News 24 or surfing the net for info about energy projects that they can *** up by delaying it and spiralling costs until the Goverment bottles it!
They might be interested enough to support some projects and oppose others - just like any other interested group. It's all part of the democratic process. Do you have a problem with that ?
I'm not a troll by the way. I'm trying to understand the hypocricy of the Environmental movement.
It'll be easier if you try and understand environment and our place in it first.
Try googling 'carrying capacity'.
Anyway, do tell me what you think; i'm sure you will.
Well, some of us may try...
