BTW Have they lost a lot of the public's donations by gambling money
in Switzerland?
I thought donations were for trees.
Well?
Perhaps if you gave some facts, like what makes you think they have been
"gambling money in Switzerland"?
I was asking a question but unlikely to get an answer. That's why
Freedom of Information legislation should be extended to charities.
They're certainly not planting trees in Switzerland - as far as I'm
aware.
"gambling money in Switzerland"?
By placing money with a Swiss financial institution.
this "gambling". How typical of you. Are all investments by anyone or
any organisation "gambling"? Or is it just the WT who "gambles" with
their money?
Of course it's gambling. Where do they say in their propaganda that
they want money to gamble on stocks, which is most likely where the
money was invested?
So the question is:The question is why you are questioning what an organisation of which
Have they lost donations that were destined for planting trees?
you are not only not a member but frequently criticise is doing with its
funds. What has it got to do with you, other than the fact that this
organisation took you to court and won, and you appear to have been
obsessed with them ever since? You don't approve of their activities in
owning and managing woodlands so why on earth are you bothered whether
they have, in your words, "lost donations that were destined for
planting trees"? I thought you didn't think planting trees was a good
idea.
I think the benefits are misrepresented when woodlands are created for
recreation purposes rather than for benefiting wildlife.
Swallowing up 850 acres of farmland in Essex that could be producing
food as consumer woodlands for up to 2million visitors, when they
can't even repair fences on their existing properties is a sign of
land grabbing and absent landlordism.
