In Scottish Natural Heritage's web page,
http://www.snh.org.uk/publications/on-line/advisorynotes/112/112.htm
they define "non-native" species as having "been introduced to Great
Britain, either deliberately or accidentally, by humans"

All very plausible, except their definition doesn't stack up because
they are wilfully excluding the human animal from nature and ignore
the fact that everything we do, without exception, is a product of our
evolutionary pathway and as natural as the activities of all other
species on the planet. This includes introducing other species to our
homelands that we find attractive.

And removing species that damage the functioning of the natural world.

No, killing wildlife on a false premise.

Except that it isn't false.

Of course it's true. SNH are regarding humans to be outside nature.

That's merely your opinion

No Malcolm, it's on their website.

"3.6 Non-native species have been introduced to Great Britain, either
deliberately or accidentally, by humans."

So?

So it's conservation garbage.

Perhaps you should read the Nature in Scotland Act.

Is it more garbage? Being an Act doesn't necessarily make it less
garbage.

and so of no consequence

When you are starting to find the going difficult you edge towards
personal insult and abuse.

If that's what you call that remark of mine, then you are either even
more sensitive than normal or you don't understand the meanings of
words.

Haven't you noticed that I'm very sensitive :-))

All truth passes through three stages:
First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident.
